Problems I solve

Complex analytics environments often struggle through ownership, governance or alignment — not technology alone.

I am most useful when the platform, business logic and delivery model need to be brought back into the same conversation.

01

Your SAC tenant has become difficult to govern.

Unused stories, duplicates, unclear ownership, inconsistent release controls or migration risk are creating technical debt.

02

You are preparing for a migration or platform change.

Not everything should move. You need a structured way to decide what to retain, retire, redesign or validate.

03

Business and technical teams disagree on the data.

KPI logic, mappings, requirements or source definitions are unclear and delivery is slowing down.

04

The programme is moving, but ownership is fragmented.

Dependencies, suppliers, releases and decisions need stronger governance without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.

05

You are evaluating Datasphere or BDC.

You need practical positioning around where the new capability fits — without pretending the current landscape does not exist.

06

The platform works, but adoption is poor.

Users do not trust what they see, cannot find the right content or still work around the platform in Excel.

Engagements

I can enter where the problem is stuck.

Four practical entry points, depending on whether the issue is platform governance, analytics change or delivery control.

Start small

Not sure what you actually need?

Start with a focused discovery. I will review the situation, identify the main risks and opportunities, and define practical next steps.

Start with a conversation

How I work

Business context first. Technology second. Delivery always controlled.

01

Understand before prescribing

I do not start with the platform. I start with the problem, the operating context and the people who have to live with the solution.

02

Make ownership visible

Clear decisions, responsibilities and escalation paths usually solve more than another governance deck.

03

Connect change to consequence

Transformation should create a business outcome strong enough to justify its financial cost, operational disruption and added complexity.

04

Stabilise operations and learn from incidents

Production issues, SAP cases and recurring incidents are signals. Resolve them, understand the cause and feed the learning back into governance.

05

Build capability, not dependency

Mentoring, review and knowledge transfer should leave teams more capable of owning, operating and improving the platform themselves.

06

Keep adoption and maintainability in scope

A technically correct solution that people avoid — or that the organisation cannot sustain — is still an unsuccessful solution.

About

My role is usually between business, platform teams and delivery.

I am not positioned as a narrow product specialist. My value is in bringing together business requirements, analytics platforms and delivery governance when the environment has become complex.

Over more than eighteen years in enterprise analytics, I have moved from hands-on SAP BW and planning work into platform and application ownership, technical business analysis, operational resilience, supplier governance, mentoring, team leadership and programme delivery.

My strongest technical foundation is SAP Analytics Cloud, BusinessObjects, BW/BW4HANA and BPC. That depth lets me work credibly with specialists while keeping the wider business, platform and delivery context in view.
